Listening to the News Media is down right dangerous right now, it seems.
Here about how IndyMac in California has had depositors stand in line for hours as the news media crowed constantly about the Bank failing??? It appears all the news coverage increased the concern among depositors dramatically when there was reason for concern but none to
rush down to the bank.
All deposits at most banks are insured to $100,000 by the FDIC. Many of you may very well know this...pretty common knowledge. Thus why rush to the bank? IF you like most people have far less than $100,000 setting in a bank account, you have nothing to fret about.
In fact, did you know this "bad news" hyped drug the Stock Market with it even though
Oil came down $5/barrel??? So if you never believed it before you can believe it now:
The sky isn't falling. We can all be Chicken Littles and let the least bump in the road
cause us to run about in fear of the world ending.
Will some people be hurt by the calamities of today? Most likely but many economic down turns have occurred followed by economic upturns.
The world will end when it ends and many of us will love to see Him come. Until that "twinkling of an eye" moment, there will be rumors of financial collapse, your home won't sell and the war will never end. But the world won't end!!
