Spring Joy!

One of the great joys of Spring is the bursting forth of new life.  Whether it be the daylilies or carrots, the new growth is so awesome to see poking through barren landscape as winter gives up unwillingly to the warmth of Spring.

Thus, it won't be long before our local farmer markets will be full of local fresh fare.  Though I will never be the great cook, I know the difference that freshness makes in great recipes.

So here a here are few recipes to enjoy with the freshest fare of Spring!

Winter Vegetable!!!

Yearning for some home grown vegetable??

I know that tomatoes, carrots and even green bean just don't always have the best flavor in the winter as our supermarkets have to source these fresh vegetable from far flung parts of our world.

Yet, with a little help and direction(and desire!!), we all could resolve to have fresh home grown vegetables on a constant basis.   Summer vegetable gardens have really made a comeback since 2008.
Yet what about in January and Februar?
