Breakfast of Champions??


Momma was Right!


Growing up, I am sure your mom was much like mine:  concerned that her kids had a good breakfast before heading off to school.

Though we were never a bacon and eggs every morning house, Mom always had breakfast set out early with hopes that we would do the right thing.

Don't know about you but I was just as happy with a pop tart as I was with a bowl of cereal or scrambled eggs and sausage.  Okay, a good Cinnamon or Pecan roll might do also.

Yet, the truth be told, our Moms were right.  Every article that comes out in the press on breakfast or is mentioned on a morning show, Dr. Oz, The Chew(and so on) shares how a good breakfast sets us on the right path for day in multiple ways:

       1.  Energy
       2.  Focus
       3.  Blood Sugar Balancing
       4.  Weight loss/control

Even with the truth comes the challenge of the time to prep, serve, eat and clean up a good breakfast during a typical hectic morning.

Ta da!   Better Homes and Gardens to the rescue with some slow cooker recipes.  Not sure these recipes will make the Biggest Loser cookbook but they do sound good!!
