Chesapeake Real Estate: Landscaping

Landscape to Impress

Metal edging around grass in yard    Berm built in front yard

A couple of days ago, I had shared Better Home & Garden’s Perennial plant articles to help you spruce up your flower beds and your yard.   As I had noted, it could be simply for your enjoyment in 2015 or to impress the wood be buyers that drive by or tour your house.

Now HouseLogic, a service of Realtor.com, provides great information and examples on changing the landscape in a “big” way that adds some “pizzaz” and ‘take notice’ impacts to the exterior of your home.

Whether adding a flagstone walkway to an otherwise boring front scape of your home or adding the interest of dimension via a berm covered with a variety of evergreen plantings, perennial flowers and annual color, your home can go from drap or uninteresting to one that takes all visitors by surprise…maybe even giving them a sense of “jealousy” or “how could I do that at my house” as they come to visit or tour your house and yard with you.
